Project Overview

Ghaziabad (Upcoming)

Integrated Solid Waste Management & Air Quality Remediation

Bhumi Green Energy's Ghaziabad project tackles the immense waste management challenges of the National Capital Region (NCR). By processing massive daily volumes of mixed municipal and industrial waste, systematically clearing legacy landfills, and implementing strict emission-controlled facilities, we are helping restore the Hindon River ecosystem and significantly improve regional air quality.

Legacy Landfill Reclamation (Projected)

Deploying heavy-duty biomining machinery to clear decades-old, smoldering garbage mountains. This reclaims crucial urban real estate while eliminating a massive source of methane and toxic smoke.

800+
Daily MT Processing Capability

(Projected)

Metric tonnes of active mixed municipal and light industrial waste processed safely every single day to serve the high-density population of Ghaziabad.

Advanced RDF & Emission Control (Projected)

Converting the high volume of dry, combustible rejects into premium Refuse-Derived Fuel (RDF) under closed-loop, dust-suppressed environments to adhere to strict NCR pollution standards.

Projected Operational Insights

Core Approach

Navigating High-Density NCR Logistics

Operating in the National Capital Region requires an approach that prioritizes speed, scale, and environmental compliance. Our Ghaziabad facility is designed to absorb massive waste influxes without disrupting local infrastructure. By utilizing automated sorting lines and enforcing strict GRAP (Graded Response Action Plan) compliant dust-suppression measures, we maintain peak operational capacity while actively lowering the city's ambient air pollution.

Mixed Industrial-Municipal Stream

Ghaziabad's waste profile is highly complex, mixing household refuse with light industrial packaging. We deployed reinforced, multi-stage trommels and magnetic separators to safely untangle this complex matrix.

Air Quality Constraints

Due to the region's severe air quality issues, open-air processing is not viable. We engineered closed-loop sheds with bio-filters and fogging cannons to ensure zero dust and odor emission beyond the site perimeter.

Challenge 02
Icon

Hindon River Protection

Legacy dump sites posed a severe threat to the nearby Hindon River. We implemented strict zero-liquid-discharge (ZLD) protocols and advanced leachate treatment plants to prevent toxic seepage into the water table.

Challenge 03

Our Proven Work Process

Projected

A scalable, emission-controlled methodology tailored for Ghaziabad to remediate old dumpsites and handle the heavy daily waste generation of the NCR.

01
Assessment
Phase 1

High-Volume Intake & Scanning

Utilizing wide-lane weighbridges and rapid-response staging areas to smoothly accept over 800 MT of mixed waste daily, preventing long truck queues and minimizing local traffic disruption.

02
Segregation
Phase 2

Automated Sorting & Segregation

Processing the heterogeneous waste through ballistic separators and optical sorters inside closed sheds to effectively separate heavy organics from industrial plastics and dry recyclables.

03
Treatment
Phase 3

Biomethanation & RDF Curing

Funneling organics into rapid composting or biogas units, while systematically shredding high-calorific dry waste to produce industrial-grade Refuse-Derived Fuel for nearby cement and power plants.

04
Monitoring
Phase 4

Scientific Landfill & Capping

Safely sequestering the final, inert rejects (less than 15% of total volume) in engineered sanitary landfills, capping cleared legacy sites to develop urban green lungs for Ghaziabad.

The Results

Projected Impact Delivered

Clean Ghaziabad

Air Quality Improvement

Significantly lowering toxic smog and greenhouse gas emissions in the NCR by eliminating open burning and preventing unregulated methane release from legacy dump sites.

Industrial Value

Hindon River Revitalization

Protecting the local water table and the Hindon River by fully treating all leachate on-site and ensuring zero liquid discharge from the active waste processing zones.

Zero-Waste Future

Circular Energy Economy

Diverting thousands of tonnes of non-recyclable waste away from landfills to create valuable RDF, directly replacing fossil fuels used by heavy industries across Uttar Pradesh.
