Integrated Solid Waste Processing at Bhandewadi

Our intervention in Nagpur confronted an escalating civic challenge: the relentless expansion of the Bhandewadi dumping yard. Faced with massive daily waste generation, we engineered a strategic pivot for Central India. By constructing high-capacity processing infrastructure, we actively intercepted the influx of fresh refuse, transforming an expanding environmental hazard into a continuous source of sustainable Refuse-Derived Fuel (RDF) and organic compost.

Bhandewadi Transformation

Our strategy required reclaiming ground zero. We systematically revitalized 10 acres of the burdened Bhandewadi yard, transforming it into a high-tech processing facility designed to simultaneously handle incoming daily refuse and mitigate decades of legacy accumulation.

Daily MT Processing Capacity

Every 24 hours, over 500 metric tonnes of fresh municipal solid waste are intercepted and scientifically diverted from open landfills, actively preventing the formation of new waste mountains.

Organic Compost & RDF

We instituted a comprehensive resource recovery system, systematically converting untreated garbage into two vital assets: high-quality organic manure to support regional agriculture, and high-calorific Refuse-Derived Fuel (RDF) to power local heavy industries.

The Nagpur initiative at Bhandewadi marks a definitive turning point in Central India’s environmental strategy. Confronted with a city generating staggering volumes of waste, we deployed a 500 MT daily capacity processing facility designed for immediate impact. By integrating scientific waste processing methodologies, we successfully arrested the expansion of active dumping zones. Our operations not only manage the present influx but actively recover critical land and resources embedded within historical refuse.

Legacy Waste Accumulation

Decades of unchecked disposal had severely compromised the Bhandewadi yard. We countered this legacy by deploying specialized infrastructure capable of mining and remediating historical waste, methodically reclaiming lost municipal land.

A metropolis producing nearly 1,300 metric tonnes of daily waste demands an industrial-scale response. Our 500 MT capacity facility operates relentlessly, ensuring a critical volume of this fresh refuse is immediately and scientifically treated.

The key to our success lies in precision. By systematically untangling complex urban waste streams, we maximized material recovery, yielding premium agricultural-grade organic compost alongside industrial-grade RDF.

Phase 1

Work order date / erection commencement

The journey begins with deep scientific analysis. We mapped out the seasonal moisture variations of Kochi to build a system that stands strong even against the monsoon.

Phase 2

Civil completion

Building the foundations of resilience. Our civil infrastructure was completed with specialized waterproofing and containment systems to isolate processing from the ground.

Phase 3

Machinery erection

Engineering comes to life. We installed precision trommels and separators designed to tackle the unique, heavy composition of coastal municipal waste.

Phase 4

Statutory compliance

Transparency and safety above all. We conducted rigorous testing and received all legal validations, confirming that our facility meets and exceeds environmental safety laws.

Phase 5

Commercial operation date

The vision realized. Our full-scale commercial operations are now actively cleaning the city, transforming waste into energy and hope for a greener nagpur.
