Integrated Solid Waste Management & Riverfront Remediation

In the Sangali-Miraj-Kupwad tri-city region, the sprawling municipal solid waste crisis posed an imminent threat to the life-giving Krishna River ecosystem. Our intervention was designed as a definitive ecological defense. By executing advanced waste segregation, systematically clearing historical dumpsites, and deploying scientific processing, we transformed a looming environmental hazard into a catalyst for riverfront remediation and sustainable urban health.

Legacy Waste Clearance

We confronted the hazardous proximity of historical dumpsites to urban centers by initiating systematic bio-mining operations. This methodical clearance reclaims vital municipal land and actively eliminates the risk of soil contamination.

Daily MT Processing Capability

Every day, we meticulously process over 450 metric tonnes of active municipal solid waste sourced from across the Sangali, Miraj, and Kupwad zones, diverting it from local ecosystems.

Compost & RDF Production

By capturing a heavily organic waste stream, we engineer a closed-loop recovery system: maturing wet waste into nutrient-dense compost for agriculture, while transforming dry rejects into premium Refuse-Derived Fuel (RDF).

Safeguarding the Krishna River Basin

The Sangali-Miraj-Kupwad tri-city area presented a unique geographical and logistical puzzle, exacerbated by its critical proximity to the Krishna River. A standard approach was insufficient. We implemented a specialized operational matrix emphasizing watertight leachate containment and rapid daily processing. By integrating high-capacity sorting with accelerated aerobic composting, we actively secure the river basin, ensuring that toxic runoff never breaches the water sources relied upon by urban communities and local agriculture.

Agricultural & Urban Mix

The region’s specific demographic creates a waste profile exceptionally high in dense organic and agricultural matter. We adapted by scaling our windrow composting yards, engineering them to efficiently cure and stabilize these heavy bio-loads.

Sangali's vulnerability to severe monsoon flooding demanded resilient infrastructure. We proactively designed our facilities with elevated processing platforms and robust, high-capacity drainage networks to guarantee zero operational downtime.

Decentralized Logistics

Unifying the waste collection of three distinct municipal zones required precise logistical orchestration. We established synchronized transfer protocols to secure a steady daily influx at our central processing hub without overwhelming local infrastructure.

Phase 1
